History & Description:
Established in 1958 in Tongeren and held in Ghent since 1972, the festival is part of a series of events across Flanders. Initially focused on religious choral music, it expanded to include chamber, orchestral, contemporary music, as well as visual and performing arts.​

Features / Program:
The festival presents over 180 concerts featuring approximately 1,500 artists. It encompasses a wide range of musical genres, from classical to jazz and world music. A highlight is OdeGand, the festival’s opening event, featuring musical performances on the city’s canals, quays, and historic venues.​
