Researchers from the University of Arizona have made a breakthrough by proving that eternal love not only exists, but can continue even after the death of one of the partners. By analyzing brain responses, neuropsychologists have found that the capacity for eternal love does not depend on age, health, or length of the relationship.

The study found that activity in the «love» areas of the brain in couples who have been married for 10 or more years does not differ from activity in those who have been in a relationship for only a year. This confirms that chemical compatibility plays a crucial role in maintaining a long-term relationship.

THE ROLE OF CHEMISTRY AND COMPATIBILITY

However, chemistry is not the only factor in everlasting love. Researchers emphasized that similarities in values, life principles, and interests are fundamental to creating a strong relationship. These factors provide a deep emotional bond, allowing partners to experience sincere affection, admiration, and a desire to care for each other.

In addition, the study highlights the role of a sense of humor in overcoming the tension and drama that inevitably arise in any relationship. The ability to perceive difficulties with lightness and non-seriousness helps to strengthen relationships and keep them positive.

Inseparably linked to eternal love, the art of forgiveness is the key to overcoming inevitable conflicts and misunderstandings. Forgiveness and the ability to compromise make relationships strong, allowing them to stand the test of time.

This is the art of creating happiness together, where love becomes not only a feeling but also a creative force that fills each day with meaning and joy.

Eternal love surpasses the boundaries of passionate attraction, becoming the fruit of close cooperation, deep understanding, and unwavering willingness to support each other in all circumstances. It is a testimony to the fact that each of us is capable of finding a unique «formula of love» in which unbreakable emotional ties, common values, and ease of communication are intertwined.

ABOUT LOVE…

#1 Sri Sri Ravi Shankar «If you want something in return, don’t call it love»

#2 William Shakespeare: «Love sees no obstacles hard to overcome; it sees only one thing: opportunities»

#3 Antoine de Saint-Exupery: «To love is not to look at each other, to love is to look in the same direction together»

#4 Louise Hay: «Love is not what we feel, but what we do; and true forgiveness is love in action»

#5 The Apostle Paul: «If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a ringing gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I give all I possess to the poor and exult in the surrender of my body, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs. Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed …And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love» (1 Corinthians 13:1-8,13)

#6 Oscar Wilde: «To love someone is to see a miracle invisible to others»

#7 Mother Teresa: «It is not a little to love and not a little to be loved, but it is important to love and be loved»

#8 Albert Einstein: «You can live in this world beautifully if you know how to love and believe in love»

#9 Rumi: «Love is not just a sentiment. It is truth at the last level of being»

#10 B.Grebenshchikov: «…the structure of life is such that we own nothing that can be lost. A thief gets into your pocket, aging steals beauty, diseases steal people, even stars hide behind clouds, and we are so powerless with all our prisons, laws, creams, mixtures and telescopes.

There are times when wealth returns, people open their eyes again, and the sky brightens, but ownership is illusory. Life is simple and beautiful – it gives no obligations and has no debts.

But you are not here with empty hands, there is a living weight in them – love. It is like mittens tied in childhood, it never loses, never passes, never ceases, although where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed»
